Hi!!
I am glad you liked the song! My companion is super talented for sure. I can't tell you how many times I hear "I love it!" every day from the sisters. You should put it on Facebook and then she will become super famous.
But woow this was a week of miracles! First off Lisa finally got baptized!! We were not able to skype it though so that was a bummer. She did send us pictures though and we are so excited for her. This is Sister Bons first baptism so it's really special.
So, yesterday something crazy happened. We were covering for Welfare Square which I was really happy about because I love that place. Sister Bon and I were just sitting in the visitors center next to the storehouse waiting for the next tour to come when some lady in her 30's comes in and says, "Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to go but I have been studying this church for months and I know it is true. I want to get baptized. Can you help me do that?" I about died and went to heaven in that moment. I was like "uh uhh uhhh yeah we can help you uhh with that uhhh I am missionary." I forgot how to speak English or who I even was. We got her information and are already in touch with the Elders in her ward. We are meeting with her tomorrow at Temple Square and I know she said some other stuff about herself but I don't remember cause I was so in shock. We plan on putting her on date tomorrow. K thanks Heavenly Father, I know I probably don't deserve this but thanks! :0 It. Was. Cray.
Alsooo, we talked to a man named Robin yesterday on the phone. He is a guy that Sister Bon and I met in the Assembly Hall on Sunday. Actually, she was the one who contacted him and got his information so go Bon! But anyways we called him to follow up with an invitation we gave him to read the Book of Mormon and pray to know that it is true. So we asked him and he said that God told him the church was true when he was at Temple Square and that he had so many good feelings from God about this religion. He talked to his wife about it too and he said that she believes it is true too. We invited them both to be baptized on May 23rd and they accepted. So...yup, yesterday was a pretty great day. God is good!

We have been getting a lot of new investigators and teaching opportunity thanks to this eternal square time. I actually like it though. We still have not met the unrealistic standard of seven tours a day but we are working on it. I also announced for the first time like you saw in the pictures! I was so proud of myself. I finally got the courage to sign up! It was fun. We had a big tour afterwards. Probs cause I'm so charming.
Hey did you know we will be talking again in like two weeks? WOWOWOW time flies. Christmas feels like last month.

I'm so happy for Aust! Maybe he will get called to a Salt Lake mission and we can serve together ;) I love you all. Thanks for da love & support. Ya'll are amazing!

toodles,
Sister Leavitt ♥

I finally got brave enough to do the tour announcing after the spoken
word! First time!

Lisa finally got baptized! She's so tiny! :)

DEAR MOM and everyone else,
This week was cool but my mind is blanking on what to write about.
It was transfer week and thats always pretty crazy. On Monday we had transfer Conference and I found out that I get another beautiful transfer with Baby Bon. YEAHHA! (pretty much expected that though) We switched zones and Pdays so we are not in Guest Services anymore and we actually have no assignment. This is my first transfer with no assignment so far so that means we have like eternal square time. Woof. We are making the best out of it though :) The standard of excellence that President expects is 7 tours a day and I think this eternal square time will finally permit that. Lets just say my mouth is always real dry from talking so much. Its cool though cause each experience is different. We have met quite a few less actives through tours recently who come back like once a week and we teach them so thats fun.
Soo there was a blizzard on Wednesday and it destroyed the flowers on Temple Square so thanks a lot mother nature.

Lisa didn't get baptized today but she FOR SURE is next friday and we are FOR SURE going to skype it. We are so happy for her she has grown so much in such a short amount of time. It is incredible to see the gospel change lives.

Thats all for this week I think. I am able to take a lot more pictures now because #ipads. I love you family and can't wait to see you again, except yeah I can wait.
Peace and blessins,
Sister Leavitt ♥

Hey y'all,
I hope you all enjoyed general conference as much as I did. It's definitely a really special time to be at temple square. We talked to a lot of members and we honestly don't get to do that very often. I know that everyone thinks only members come here. That is so false. We talked to a ton of non members as well. We just looked for the people not wearing church clothes. Boom bang.

On Friday night sister Bon and I were in the tabernacle and we were talking to a lady named Heidi and her son Morris. They are non members and they are from Germany. We explained to them that they are visiting temple square at a special time and invited them to attend conference the next morning. They accepted and we met them saturday morning and stood in the stand by line with them for about a half hour and gave the whole first lesson. They weren't able to get into the conference center but they watched it in the tab and we met up with them afterwards. They said they were really impressed and loved the emphasis on family. We got their information and are hoping to meet with them on Saturday because they are leaving back to Germany on Sunday. CONFERENCE MIRACLES ARE REAL. I didn't see that many people I knew this conference either which was also a miracle.

Lisa isn't planning on getting baptized this weekend cause her close friend is going out of town and she said she won't be baptized without her there so she's planning for next Friday the 17th. It was kinda sad to hear that but I know it's all in the Lords timing. We have been blessed with good investigators this transfer and I have faith that we will get a baptism! Yes, this is the last week of the transfer. The sisters found out if they were going outbound on Monday and sister Sughroue is going to Virginia and my beloved sister Rajah is going to Montana! I will miss them but I think next transfer after I train it will be my time to go :)

We had sleep in day on Monday and then we all deep cleaned our apartment. It reminded me of the days of Dottie Adams and the North Shore Inn. Yikies. Also, we had some roommate bonding time during a hymn jam sesh. Sister Bon happens to be an amazing ukulele player.  Our African roommate sister Mere was doing a Broadway version of Master the tempest is raging and we were dying laughing. Sister Bon wrote an epic song about me. I will record it and send it next week. She is just the cutest thing and SO TALENTED!

Looks like you're having a blasty in San Francisco. It's okay I'm not jealous :D

Love your fave missionary,

Sister Leavitt

Happy Easter!

This guy was like "free hugs!" And I was like "hold up bro, I'm a missionary"

Heidi and Morris from Germany are just one example of a conference miracle!

Sunday morning Session

You won't understand how great this is, but this is Elder Moreno from the district, pretty much a missionary celeb!

HI!
This week was swell. Womens Conference was great right? Yes, I got to go this time and it was amazing. I feel so lucky to walk across the street and hear the leaders of our church and an apostle of God speak, like what? That does not happen. I really liked the focus on families as well. I told Sister Bon at the beginning of the transfer that my 2 least favorite hymns are "Love at Home" and "Let Us Oft Speak Kind Words To Eachother" because mom would sing those when we were fighting in the house and when MoTab did a medley of those 2 songs we were laughing pretty good. I was just shaking my head, haha. We are so excited for conference! We had a training on it this morning and it really is one of the best times to be a T2 missionary. We are really focusing on uplifting the members. 100,000 people are traveling here this weekend to hear the words of the prophet and I will walk across the street. WAHOO!

Maybe a month ago, I was at Music and the Spoken Word with Sister Yunda. We were sitting up on the balcony in the tabernacle. Someone sitting next to us pointed out that Thomas S. Monson was there sitting all discreetly to the side of the choir. He was under the balcony in a really comfy looking chair where not many people could see. I could just see him perfectly and I got so overwhelmed with the spirit all of a sudden and I just started to cry! I received an undeniable confirmation that he was the Prophet of God. I just sat there and cried for a minute and Sister Yunda was real concerned. I was just thinking how members of the church all over the world sustain the prophet and have full faith and trust in him but will never see him in person their entire lives and he was just sitting not even 100 yards in front of me. I feel so very blessed. The special guest performers were to the side and they could see him. I saw him give them a salute as they walked on to perform. Our prophet is so cool guys. Get excited to hear from him this weekend. I am going to the Sunday morning sesh so look for me :)

We did in fact get iPads on Sunday so that has been kinda weird honestly. We haven't been approved to start using Facebook or Skype or really anything so I don't really see the point but I like them to take notes on a lot better than writing so that is the only plus I have seen so far. The camera is nice too, I guess. It will be so great when we can start skyping our investigators! I will die with joy when that happens.
Everything is good with Sister BonBon and I. We have 2 investigators on date for the 11th and we are really excited for that. One is named Lisa from England and the other one is Tim who I have been teaching since my first transfer and has slowly stopped smoking so we hope he can hold off until his baptismal date then we are telling him it will get easier when he gets the Holy Ghost. Sister Bon passed off on Tuesday and I was such a proud momma. Mainly because we get a free meal at the Lion House because of it, haha!

Thanks so much for the package! Holy mackerel it was huge but not too heavy to carry home so thanks! We loved it and I just assumed that the other basket was for S. Bon cause there was no card. The bunny masks are wonderful so thanks :)

Have fun in San Fran ya turds.

Much love,
Sister Leavitt ♥
