Hallo,
This week on Temple Square was good, the flowers and the antis are blooming wonderfully. There are a lot more people coming around since the weather is nice and the anitis are coming out of their caves via chat, calls, square, everywhere! It's kinda fun I just feel bad for my companion poor girl has a tender heart about it. On Thursdays they all gather in large groups out side the gates and shout their nonsense so I am pumped that I have Thursday P-day because sometimes I get fired up about it and I don't want to get myself in trouble. There is this recent convert who just got baptized in October and some sisters from Temple Square taught him his name is David AKA Miracle David and he is one of the most well versed scriptorians ever. He grew up Jewish so he knows like Hebrew and Arabic and who knows what else and he's like the anti police he just gets in the middle of the circles and starts handing out home made cookies to them its one of the best things I have ever seen hahah. He LOVES antis. He said that it is another witness to him that this church is true because there would not be such opposition if the church was not true. "For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things"-2 Nephi 2:11.
I was also talking to one of the polynesian security guards here for like an hour at one of the desks and he was telling me how all of the "homeless" people that are always outside the square are all in cahoots. One of the ladies that is here every day has been here for 17 years and apparently she has an engineering degree but she makes more money panhandling lol. They all have iphones and stuff and I guess KSL did a special on them so that will be one to check out when I get back! It was so interesting and I think they might have the right idea! :)
WELL ANYWAYS MISSIONARY WORK:
Good news we were able to get a hold of the Elders serving in Cameroon and told them about Alains situation. They said they would contact him ASAP. That was earlier this week and we have not been able to get a hold of Alain since then cause the phone lines are super sketch but at least the Elders know about him now. Prayer works! Our other investigators are progressing  more as well. We are hoping to put a few of them on date this week. We are seeing little miracles every day. For example yesterday an investigator that I was teaching my second transfer texted us and told us he has been attending church and that he is almost done with the Book of Mormon. I am really enjoying my time on the square a lot more too now that it is not freezing. I think I have said this before but I have really learned to just adjust the teaching to the people because so many diverse and unique people come here.
So thats the weekly report.
I love and miss you all!
